      Introduction to the characteristics of the traditional Wu style Tai Ji Sword Skills and Tricks for contest:

    这个套路是在20世纪初由王茂斋、吴鉴泉、郭松亭三位大师在传统的基础上加以修改，动作方向是王、吴二位大师亲自编定的。命名是由学识渊博的郭松亭执笔，剑式规范，剑法丰富，难度堪称是太极剑套路中之最。

       The skills and tricks were improved by the three masters as follows, Wang Maozhai, Wu Jianquan and Guo Songting based on the traditional swordplay at the beginning of the 20th century. And the directions of the movements were designed by Wang Maozhai and Wu Jianquan, and its name was given by the well-learned Guo Songting. It is standard in sword style and rich in swordplay, and is famed as the Top 1 on the aspect of difficulty among the skills and tricks of Tai Chi sword.

        剑法有劈、崩、撩、摸、穿、扫、洗、斩、架、拖、压、提、刺、劫、削、挑。

       The swordplay movement includes hacking, collapsing, sprinkling, fumbling, stabbing, sweeping, brushing, cutting, supporting, dragging, pressing, lifting, sticking, intercepting, scraping, and raising.

        握剑方法有正把握法，为右手握和双手握之别。
